Little Tidbits about my little man Ollie
A friend once told me that 18 months was her favorite age. Now I understand why. With Oliver just turning 17 months on Sunday, his personality is really coming through. So at the current moment, 17 months is my favorite age. Granted, this changes every month. ;)
Oliver is a very chill kid. He loves to read, investigate & explore. He has to inspect things before deciding on an action. He will take everything in, then maybe the second time around he’ll show emotion & excitement.
We went to Gage Park last week, rode the train, played in the park. I love seeing him experience something for the first time.

No, this isn’t his first time swinging, but he’s really starting to enjoy it. This time around, he almost feel asleep. I’m glad we’re not at the screaming, how high can I go & then jump off the swing stage. I think I’ll stick to the relaxing swing stage thank you very much!

It didn’t take Oliver long to figure out the climbing wall. What a mischievous look.

While Ollie loves to explore outside, here’s what he loves to do inside: read-READ, READ, READ. I can’t tell you how many times a day he will bring me a book, expect me to sit down so he can plop down in my lap to read his favorite book of the moment.
Current loves: Green Eggs & Ham, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, There’s a Cow in the Cabbage Patch.
At 18 months we’re going on vacation, so I’m sure that will soon become my favorite age. But for now, 17 months is pretty awesome.
