About

Unforeseen Expressions is a little bit of everything that makes life in Topeka exciting, interesting, frustrating yet inspiring; through my eyes.

My current obsession: figuring out this thing we call motherhood to our adorable baby boy Oliver. Other life loves include: sewing & crafting, cooking & baking, vintage to bargain shopping, event planning/florist.

winter, no wait, summer…….

With the days getting colder & colder, all I can think about is…..SPRING!  There are so many outdoor activities that I want to try out with Oliver that will just have to wait a few more months.  A few more long months.

I felt like a kid again when we received the Burley Child Trailer.  The first thing I wanted to do was try it out. Too bad it’s a little cold for a bike trip with a 1 year old.  How long until April again??

This got me thinking…..what else do we want to try out come spring?  Hiking, biking, swimming, more trips to the zoo? Since we also received a family pass to the zoo, we will definitely be taking advantage of our local Topeka zoo!

Zulily has some great Kelty child carriers right now.

What fun activities do you look forward to with your kids once the weather warms up? Any suggestions?

Thank you to the wonderful grandparents who knew just what we needed this Christmas!
