Little Tidbits about my little man Ollie
A friend once told me that 18 months was her favorite age. Now I understand why. With Oliver just turning 17 months on Sunday, his personality is really coming through. So at the current moment, 17 months is my favorite age. Granted, this changes every month. ;)
Oliver is a very chill kid. He loves to read, investigate & explore. He has to...
Dear Aunt Gretchen,
Here’s a few things I’ve learned that are definitely note worthy and I thought you would enjoy.
As you know, dogs are pretty awesome. Since our dog Tahoe is pretty big, it’s a lot easier to play with my other “dogs”.
Meet Wooden Dog. I can take him on short walks.
I taught Wooden Dog to sit.
I can even pick him up by the ears.
I...

WHEN we don’t get the results we want in our military endeavors, we don’t blame the soldiers. We don’t say, “It’s these lazy soldiers and their bloated benefits plans! That’s why we haven’t done better in...

Do you think I should wash my windows? I blame the dog.
Anyone else longing for warmer days? That little rush of warm weather was such a tease. Now bring on the freezing drizzle! Good times.
I was looking through old photos of Oliver & I came across a few from Gage Park. I realize it’s not even March yet, but this winter has been a drag. I want to take Oliver out exploring. Come on sunshine, I’m getting very impatient.

snow
Why can’t I crawl in the snow? It was almost a face plant.
Oliver didn’t seem that impressed by the snow. But he was quite excited watching Tahoe run around like a maniac. Our dog goes crazy in the snow, sprinting around the yard. Chasing Tahoe was definitely the highlight, not the snow.
Oliver definitely needs a snow suit & boots. We’re getting far too much snow to...

I feel a trip to Kansas City is in order. I’ve heard so many great things about Bon Bon. Cute little crafty items, select fabric, patterns & handmade goodies.
This book looks so adorable. Who’s up for a trip?
I love me some Land of Nod
Just received the Land of Nod catalog.
Sarah~I’m completely rethinking the wallpaper.
Would it completely wild? Yes.
Would it be totally awesome? OH YEAH.
This catalog always makes me want to redo Oliver’s nursery. I am dying to repaint; maybe a citrus green?
Maybe Oliver’s big kid room could look like this……..

winter, no wait, summer.......
With the days getting colder & colder, all I can think about is…..SPRING! There are so many outdoor activities that I want to try out with Oliver that will just have to wait a few more months. A few more long months.
I felt like a kid again when we received the Burley Child Trailer. The first thing I wanted to do was try it out. Too bad it’s a little cold for a bike trip with a...

Do you think I’m a little monster obsessed?? I realize that Halloween is over but I’m carrying this theme all the way home.
Monster Hoodie
Guess what Oliver’s 1st Birthday theme is going to be? You guessed it, Monsters! I’m so predictable. We even have the perfect quilt to display! Zach’s talented aunt made Oliver a fun MONSTER quilt.

Oliver’s trip to St. Louis to see his new friends!
One of my favorite places to visit is St. Louis. We have some amazing friends that live there, so it’s always fun to take a weekend trip. Zach created a fun picture collage of our weekend.
Thanks Aaron, Michelle, Halee & Pam for the hospitality!
